重複犯錯

歷史永遠只是重複著, 人物雖異, 人的本性卻沒變。要預測未來，確要好好研究歷史，歷史好比人類的一面鏡子，永遠是人類自我反省的素材，可惜大多未能汲取教訓。


Mike Maloney 於他的書中提到：
“For the past 2,400 years a pattern has continually repeated in which governments debase and dilute their money supply until a point where the common psyche of the populace and the collective mind of a country begin to feel that something isn't right.”


自二千多年前羅馬帝國Diocletian時期他的種種經濟改革讓史上產生了第一個有記載的hyperinflation開始，到今時今日，人類還未能改變事實。所有政府政策，如Nixon控濟價格、工資達1000日、稀釋錢幣、Bernanke印銀紙、多個國家領導人赤字開支於軍事中，只是時間人物換掉，結果往往相同。

Maloney continues: 
“In inflation there are winners and losers. The winners are those who can see it coming, and hedge their position by getting gold, silver, fine art, or buying railroads. The losers are savers, those with annuities, pension plans, anything denominated in currency."


大致在説“在通貨膨脹時期有贏家和輸家。 贏家是那些準備看到它的到來，並用金，銀，名畫，或購買鐵路對沖他們的立場。失敗者是用儲蓄，年金，退休金計劃，或任何用貨幣計價。“
